Chime Global Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) of 5 Tanner St, London SE1 3LE, England, is an insurance broker, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, specialising in advising and placing employee benefits insurance protection for the benefit of the employees of our customers.


The collection, use and transfer of personal information is a fundamental and an essential part of this process and we are committed to safeguarding the personal information of our customers, their employees and others that we work with.
Please read this Privacy Notice carefully, to understand how we collect and use your personal information as a data controller, when you interact with us through our website, directly with us or indirectly because your personal information is shared with us by your employer.


Where we use “you”, “your”, in this Privacy Notice, we are referring to you as our customer, you as a visitor to our website and you as an employee of our customer and beneficiary of the employee benefits insurance protection on which we advise your employer. Personal information is information that can be used to identify you both directly (e.g. your name together with your address) and indirectly (e.g. your job title/role and employer).

• Contact Details – Telephone number, mobile phone number, correspondence address, email address. This is to ensure that we can refer back to any instruction you may have given to us as well as to ensure that the information we provide you with is accurate.
• General Statistics - we collect statistics relating to pages visited, paths through the website, search terms used to find us. This is done to improve the visitor experience, understand our customer’s needs and help us improve site design and layout. • Online Forms - we collect data that you have entered into our online/contact forms on our website.
• Financial Details – Bank details, Credit or Debit card details.
• Technological Details – if you visit our website, we use cookies to collect IP address, web browser type and version, operating system, URLs.

• Personal Details – Full name, Title, Gender, Date of Birth, Profession/Job Title where you are an employee of one of our customers and our customer provides this information to us.

• Publicly Available Sources – we many collect your personal information from any publicly available records such as internet searches.

​We do not collect or process any of your medical or health information which in some countries is categorised as special category or sensitive personal information. This information is sent directly by your employer to the insurer.

When Do We Collect Personal Data?

Personal Data may be collected at various points throughout your interaction with us. Basic Personal and contact details may be collected upon your initial contact with us or upon submission of an email or website contact form, whilst more detailed Personal Data, including documentation and financial details, may be collected during the process of our service provision. This will usually be when we are collating the Personal Data required, to submit or manage, an application on your behalf.

Why Do We Collect Personal Data and Our Legal Basis for Processing

The Personal Information we collect is used to:

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share your personal information with our network of partner insurance brokers in countries where you have requested cover but where we are not authorised to operate. Where we share your personal information with partner insurance brokers, we do so on the basis that they are data controllers like us and put a data sharing agreement in place prior to any sharing taking place.

We may share your personal information with our own suppliers including IT suppliers, including Microsoft who provides our cloud hosting environment and suppliers supporting the day to day running of our business e.g. professional advisers.

We will share specific personal information where we are required to by law or competent authority with regulators, courts, government departments and law enforcement agencies. We will inform of this beforehand unless we are legally prevented from doing so.


Where we share your information, we do so only where those companies have appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to ensure the security of your personal information. How Long Do We Keep Your Personal Information?
